Bunker Barge Operations

Barge transportation is one of the most efficient methods of conveying bulk cargoes to inland locations. The Bunker Barge is ideal for moving liquid solutions out to offshore oil rigs, offshore platforms, and refineries. Bunker barges are also used by shipbuilders and builders to transport components from a shipyard directly to a construction site. 

Bunkering services

We are able to provide bunkering services, which means that the vessel has no need for an on-site Bunkering Service. The terminal will then make all necessary arrangements for the bunkering, i.e. purchasing the needed bunker fuel from a supplier who carries out routine shipments to the vessel.

Intertank transfer of products

Our Intertank transfer of products provides the safety and quality assurance you need for all your bulk liquid transport needs.

The terminal is made with the flexibility to transfer products between tanks within the terminal, for example between a smaller tank used for storing product and a larger tank used for storage. The system includes pumps, piping and valves that allow operators to transport liquid between tanks.

Online Barge Nomination

Our Online Barge Nomination service – saving you time and money! Now available to all clients, this service allows you to nominate your barge of choice right within the Vessel Viewer cart.

This will allow you to easily submit your barge nominations for the Online Barge Nomination along with other supporting documents, such as photos, invoices and proof of insurance.

Ship-Shore-Ship

Our Ship-Shore-Ship program works with vendors around the world and is especially useful for international shipments. The program allows us to take advantage of our new rates and services by shipping products.

 Storage

We have storage tanks in the terminal that can be used by our customers to store their goods. The storage tanks are monitored and kept clean to maintain product integrity and guarantee quality.

Supply of fresh water to vessels

The requisite approval from MPA has been obtained for the supply of fresh water to vessels. 

The fresh water supply aboard a vessel is ensured through the efforts of the purifier crew. A purifier uses a system of pumps and pipes to collect seawater from the ocean. The seawater then passes through filters that remove any contaminants before passing it into holding tanks. Once the purified water has been collected, it can be distributed throughout the vessel via internal piping systems that are placed throughout each ship’s structures to provide drinking water for both crew and passengers.
